A Few "Notes" About
Winterbourne Wind Band
Winterbourne Wind Band was formed within the Avon Wind Band Association charity in September 2014 and have established themselves as a successful concert band in the North Bristol area. They play at a variety events throughout the year, organising their own concerts, and are often booked to perform at outdoor festivals, bandstands and private events.
They rehearse at Frenchay Village Hall, Beckspool Road, Frenchay on Thursday evenings 7.30-9.30pm. The band is now 30 strong and is comprised of Woodwind and Brass sections, Bass Guitar and Percussion.

Interested in becoming part of a fun and friendly group?
Musical Director, Joe Galuszka, likes to keep rehearsals fun and sociable, while using his experience to ensure that the band continues to improve. The repertoire has something for everyone, covering classical, jazz, pop, rock and the odd foray into latin, country, and even heavy metal!
If you're interested in joining the band and are comfortable playing around Grade 3-5, please do get in touch. There are no auditions and we'd love to hear from you.
